DON'T BE THE FAT AMERICAN PLAN

I gotta get a plan. Quick!

I have six weeks to work a miracle! I'm a damn planner. I'm hard headed. I will make this happen!

What the hell am I talking about?

Our trip to Italy, and my fear of being the dreaded fat American!

I don't want to be the FAT AMERICAN!
 So I need your help to keep me on track. First, let me tell you about the trip. I told you I was a planner. Planning trips is kinda my thing.

First stop Sardinia, the island off the coast of Italy. Island = water. Water = swimsuit. Swimsuit = Gotta get toned up!
We will be in Carloforte for six nights.
After a week of beach, boating, sun and wine we head to Tuscany.
We have a villa in this heavenly vineyard for a week. Life is hard.
The villa has a pool. Pool = more damn water & swimsuits & more reasons to need to get my ass in shape!
A fat ass would totally ruin this view!
At this point we don't have any specifics planned for our week in Tuscany. Here are a few of the places we're considering. I'd love feedback if you have visited the area.
Lucca
Montalcino
Montepulciano
San Gimignano
Siena
Pisa
 From Tuscany we head to Rome for four days. Thank goodness for no swimsuits in Rome. I'm quite sure after two weeks of eating and drinking wine in Italy no swimsuit will fit!
Rome = LOTS OF WALKING
This is why I need a plan. Too much swimsuit wearing. Too many photos to be taken. I will NOT be the fat American.

Seriously, I can't go to Italy looking like this!  I know I was damn sexy, but once in a lifetime is enough  for that hair & triple chin beauty.

Exercise: 
5 days per week - NO EXCEPTIONS!
Options: Camp Gladiator / Yoga / Running
AND
4 days per week - Evening Walk with Doug


Eating:
Clean eating 7 days per week!
2 cheat meals per week...NO MORE!
Shakeology 1-2 times per day with protein powder
Strive for 1200 calories / 100 grams of protein / low carb
Track my eating with My Fitness Pal app


Coffee & Wine
No more than 2 cups of coffee per day. No sugar!
No more than 2 glasses of wine per night!
No other caffeinated or alcoholic drinks!



GOAL: Look damn sexy!

Time To Get Serious

Shhh, don't let my husband find out I started another blog. He won't be very happy. Apparently it takes up too much of my time.

Too bad! I'm tired of being unmotivated. Blogging holds me accountable And besides, where else can I post so many super attractive pictures of me and everyone I know?

Family game of Hedbanz. Why the hell am I so bad at that game?
 My goals for this blog are very simple.

Goal 1

Eat a little healthier on a regular basis.
 Goal 2


Work out a little more.
Goal 3


Drink a little less. Do enough of Goals 1 and 2 to allow me to drink a magnum of champagne a night. 
 Goal 4

Race once per month.

 Goal 5

 Make these people join me in my quest for a fun healthy life balance.

The hubby.

The girl child.

The almost teenage boy child.
Yap Cyn...I'm dragging you into this. You gotta get me on track with yoga.

Cheri...you're responsible for making sure I have fun during this entire process. Feel free to join me for nightly walks around the block, followed by copious amounts of wine for hydration.
Talia, you got me started in this running business. You sure as hell better stick with me.
Randee..are you with me? No blog is complete without some fabulous Randee pics. So what do ya say, will you be my fitness buddy again?
Anyone else that wants to be part of this process, feel free. My only disclosure: I will take your picture and I will use it on the blog. The more unflattering...the better!

We'll just have to wait and see where this blog goes. It's time to get serious. READY. SET. GO.
